Only one hour from home & a cosy, well appointed, country lodge at our disposal for a relaxing, winter weekend in the Peak District. The swimming pool is such an attraction for the family & the restaurant offering take-away as well as a good sit-in menu makes for a real break from the chores. Mrs T, Stafford, Staffordshire 04 March 2011
This is a lovely site, peaceful with great views and close to lots of local attractions. The swimming pool and on site Coach House were a bonus, the food was delicious! Mrs E, Brackley, Northamptonshire 03 March 2011
Very clean and comfortable accommodation. The children enjoyed the swimming pool which was also clean and well maintained. Plan to book another short break. Mrs W, Solihull, West Midlands 26 February 2011
Lovely part of the world and very good country park. High standard of accommodation and good facilities on the park, particularly liked swimming pool and pub. Mrs O, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire 06 January 2011
Lovely relaxed campsite, accommodation was excellent. My husband and I went with 4 small children and were dubious about what to expect - it was perfect. Spacious chalet, good storage space and a great area for kids to run around without disturbing anyone. Swimming pool was lovely and we went every day at various times and only ever had at most one other family in pool - on several occasions we had the pool to ourselves, excellent. Good location for days out. We went to Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, Conkers, Chatsworth House, Stepping Stones at Dovedale, Matlock and a great soft play at another Hoseasons site. We go abroad every year and all agreed we had as good a holiday here for much less money.
Mr H, South Queensferry, West Lothian 31 October 2010
A lovely place to stay with lots to do and see in the area. Lodges very cosy and homely. Mrs S, Hartlepool, Cleveland 18 October 2010
My mother in law is in a wheelchair and we required a one level accommodation that would give us time to spend together. The resort was perfect, better than we had expected. We had a unit close to the facilities and being able to park the car next to the unit made it so easy for everyone. I am a travel agent in Canada and I would highly recommend this property. Mr F, Kelowna, Bc 03 October 2010

Very good standard of accommodation in a lovely area of the country. Lots of things to see and do nearby. Children (5 and 8) loved it. Mr A, Dunbar, East Lothian 26 July 2010
It was in a good location as a base for exploring Derbyshire. The accommodation was of a very high standard and very good value for money. For people wanting an active holiday or families with young children it was ideal and unlike some similar sites, was not designed to cost you additional costs whilst on holiday. The park is situated in a very good location to explore the surrounding areas - Matlock, Matlock Bath, Derby, Ashbourne, Buxton and Bakewell, which are all within a reasonable radius. MRS S, REDCAR, Cleveland 19 September 2009
Sandybrook Country Park was superb, clean and well furnished, to the point it felt more like a hotel grade accommodation than a holiday park. The whole park was in a beautiful area, within easy access of the Peak District and the staff were helpful. We will be booking to go back again next year! Mr B, Romney Marsh, Kent 08 September 2009
From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. The accommodation was excellent and we all loved the swimming pool and used it everyday. The staff were great, nothing was too much. A, South Croydon, Surrey 03 September 2009

An enjoyable, quiet and well situated park. Mrs B, Greenock, Renfrewshire 09 July 2009
Great, high quality accomnodation for families. So much to do in the nearby coutryside from theme parks to steam railways. I would advise that a car is needed to get the most out of the holiday though. Great for a long weekend or a week but there is easily enough to occupy a fortnight. Ideally located for attractions for all ages, from Alton Towers to Thomas The Tank Land at Drayton Manor. Also good to know that there are 3 major supermarkets in Ashbourne (1 mile from holiday park) so it is easy to cater for yourself. Mrs B, Glasgow, Lanarkshire 05 July 2009
